Drupal Developer (Jr/Sr)

WorkHabit is looking for another Drupal developer to join our team. If you're an experienced developer, looking for a place to work that can help you build a career, send us your resume.

We're looking for bright and fun people who love what they do and want to make a good name for themselves in the web development and Drupal communities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Custom PHP/MySQL development
  • Drupal Module Development
  • Custom theme work with Drupal
  • Active community member; works within the Drupal community to give back

As you can see, knowledge of the Drupal framework would be more than a little helpful.

Useful Skills/Knowledge:

  • PHP programming, including OO, procedural, and a knowledge of data structures and patterns
  • The ability to work with MySQL. This means you know different kinds of joins, can optimize queries, and can explain to us what an index is and why we should use them, at a minimum. If you're a MySQL guru, with loads of experience in large datasets and performance queries, you'll be among friends.
  • Be able to code XHTML, and have some experience with CSS (it's cool if you're not a rock star at CSS, as long as your php skills are up there - we know the 'brain' split)
  • Javascript, especially jquery. If you're "not a frontend" person, we understand. Still, be ready to learn some if you don't know it already. We have a hacker culture, and we like to learn technology - you should too.
  • A strong sense of ethics and personal responsibility.
  • Communications skills, especially with teams
  • Some ability to work within a very independent environment, and possess the ability to manage your time
  • Experience with Linux or other Unix like OS would be nice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fast learner and a Self-starter

If you're a Drupal God, well... we probably know you already. But we still want to hear from you. If you still don't know Drupal, we can train you up, but it would be a good idea to look around Drupal.org before talking to us.
