For over 13 years Emily has been trying to stay a step ahead of the newest web technologies, focusing most recently on true integration and intelligent applications allowing for simplified user interface design.

Emily’s experiences include web-based telemedicine, a portal for the cattle industry (before I became a farmer), web-based financial applications, international shipping document processing, the integration of a wide variety of applications for the printing industry, and several eCommerce sites.

Emily’s role at WorkHabit includes technical leadership and development for implementations of Jive Software’s business social software, Clearspace and Clearspace Community.

Emily is (still) settling in to her new home on her family’s 150 year old farm in rural Ohio. She is also the only farmer that we know who has a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner and WiMax high speed internet. When she’s not laying tile, painting, finishing hardwood floors and windows, or attempting to cook for whomever drops in for the day, she is playing the Wii with her husband and two girls or outside on some new farm adventure. When at the computer, her pug, Puc, is always close by.
